To me, the con of low-res sensors stems from the fact that when the subjects do not fill up the frame and have to be heavily cropped, you lose a lot of pixels that can show a big deal of "details" (for wildlife photos). Guess not everyone can always shoot at a well-closed distance for full-frame...

And today Nikon has a sale on Z8: $200 off (body only). Does anyone remember how much off for the last holiday sale? My hands itch as I keep pondering a high-res upgrade for my z6ii. It's still too high $ for me... The rumor of z6iii says it could bring up to a 33M sensor. Should I wait?

According to Nikon, NX Studio 1.6 is compatible with Sonoma on Apple silicon. It just won't install on my machine :( update: I just tried downloading and installing again and it worked! Don't know why. Only that it replaces my previous ViewNX-i

On what computer system did you install NX Studio?

Has anyone succeeded in installing the latest version of NX Studio on an M2 Pro Mac machine? I tried and it said "Installation is completed"... but nothing was installed! Any idea?
