My new Tamron 70-300 SD lens came today...Unfortunately I was only able to snap a few test pics. I damn near sliced the tip of a finger off today at work, and the meds the hospital gave me have me all loopy...I'm in no condition for RawTherapee or NXd right now lol...the all had the same...

Is there such a thing as to much crop? I'd say 95% of the pics I take gets a pretty hefty crop in post. I'm still waiting on my Tamron 70-300, so maybe that will get me away from copping so much. I've noticed that you guys that zoom a lot have really smooth pictures, and sometimes I think...

I really like the 35mm 1.8!!! you can get a good deal on one through the Nikon refurbished program. Saved me a few bucks, and the lens has been top notch. ~ ~ These are all done with the 35mm. the desert one my settings were way off, but it came out ok I guess.

OK, so somehow when I was snapping pics yesterday, I hit some button that "protected" some of the pictures. There is a key symbol that shows up when you review them in camera. I cant find anything in the manual about how to un-protect them so I can delete them. The camera will delete...
