I was in the Jeep leaving Wako when this hawk flew right across the front of me. No one was behind me, so I stopped and unbagged my camera. Suddenly, there were two vehicles behind me, so I just shot whatever my last settings were. The second vehicle went around the Jeep behind me and spooked...

This Mottle Duck was truckin'!! I wanted to get a head on shot with the V trailing it. I had to settle for the backside.
