    Next time you have NAS

We all know that, to a certain extent, gear matters. You can't drive a nail with a screw diver. But at what level does it stop mattering? I really like all of Sean's videos, and so I thought I'd share this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pekicGW9qyA

Woody's 2017 Wildlife, Nature and Other Stuff

All summer long this silly Osprey kept collecting branches, then he would fly to a power pole and put them there, as if trying to build a nest. There was no place for the branches to rest, so they fell to the ground most of the time. He kept doing this well past the time that an Osprey would try...

    18-140mm Pretty Disappointing

Woody's 2017 Wildlife, Nature and Other Stuff

The Snowy Egrets have really liked the low water levels in a couple of the ponds I frequent. Lots of easy prey for them. I imagine they are leaving for the South any day now.

NIkon D850: Best Wildlife Camera EVER?

@ISOhappy I agree with most of what you have to say with the D850 vs D500 for wildlife. I would never in a million years trade my D500 for a D850 for wildlife. If I had a D850, it would be as a BACKUP for my D500 with sports and wildlife, or for situations where I could fill the frame with the...
