Today at Green Cay Yesterday I received a text that the Wood Ducks were hatching. This morning all the photographers were lined up. I wasn't in the correct spot to get them all.

Can't believe they still have the mating colors at this time of the year!

Spotted pappa but he was too close to the boardwalk to get a shot. Then I saw momma. Then one of the babies in the background then another one, also in the background.

Breathing heavy early in the morning!

The above gator went under the boardwalk. These Mottled ducklings were headed that way. Mom was a little concerned, but they went under the boardwalk. And came out the other side without any incident from the gator.

Saw this BNS at the retention pond also. Looks like one chick to the right.

Today at Wako They were at the retention pond diving like crazy, but couldn't get them through the chain linked fence.
