Welcome to the Forum @r1p! I love mine as well. It is not to say someday I may change, but I do love it. It does have good ergonomics and I do like the results. I use it more than my 7200 I think.
Those are petty cool @Needa. I like that kind of stuff. My Dad used to have a bunch of birdhouses in the backyard, but he bought his. I like the homemade ones. They may be a couple patterns but they all look unique. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations @Fastfirstgen. Sounds like you got a good deal. That definitely is a great kit for your wife to start with. You might add a 3rd party handbook from Amazon to help her learn about all that it offers. I like David D. Bush handbooks but there are several. Again congratulations.
I got out today for a little drive in the country... different than around home :) . It was a bit to busy to stop a lot but I did find one distillery they finally have the front finished. They are restoring all the old places and setting them up for single barrels or special blends and tours...
Today I went by my Mom's to visit with my wife Pat. Got a shot of her Rose. Probably the last one. It is supposed to drop to thirty degrees tonight. Also got one of the trees at home.
I was challenged to 7 days of black and white photos on FB with no people or explanation. They just had to be something from my life. So figured I would post them here too.
I have kind of lost track of weeks. Seems that thing just has been a bit crazy, but I did get out and had a good time Friday and Saturday of last week. Just some fun taking photos of cars Friday evening and family Saturday.
Lost a good friend to a stroke a couple weeks ago. He was the guy that drove me around to take photos when I was up to it. His favorite shots were my photos of the moon. This is the first decent sky that I could get a moon shot. I do miss Greg but I know I will see him again.
