    Yes, it is stitched. Five handheld shots. They do tend to pose, but sometimes the head is in a different position by the time I get to the bottom. Makes for an interesting photo. Edit: I've never had one takeoff on me during my shooting.

    PERSEID METEORS AND AURORAS: The Perseid meteor shower peaks tonight, Aug. 11-12, with dozens of bright meteors per hour visible from dark-sky sites. The timing is great for northern sky watchers.
