Starting to see a lot of these mushrooms. Not the usual ones I see. Edit: Some sort of Russula fungi

Some sort of grasshopper? This critter was tiny. The only reason I spotted it was because of its neon green color.

Still being fed by mom. It does leave the nest but once it sees mom, it returns. Mom

Yesterday at Wako There are usually two BBWD's at the entrance to greet visitors.

These are two almost shots. I was leaving Wako when I saw the hawk, backed up into my parking space, unpacked my camera and rushed over to the spot where I saw it. I didn't grab my hat. It was in the shadows. Then moved to another spot. Still had trouble seeing it.
