Ok, this isn't fair! Now I'm pricing D810s online. I was playing with the crop in LR, and I cropped just the ducklings head and it was still crystal clear. Anyway here is my edit.

I may have found a temporary solution to the Exif problem when posting to this site. I'm off to work in a few so I don't have time to try other programs but it may work . Instead of resizing to a 1000pxels in LR6/CC itself, I just did my resizing in Paint and the EXIF showed up correct...
