This clamp arrived today. The smell isn't nearly as bad as what some of the reviews suggested. :beguiled: The clamp is exceptionally strong. There's no way it's going to drop something. It's all I can do to open it. The clamp itself is metal, not plastic, although the edges that hold a diffuser...

I just purchased this Neewer reflector clamp. The reviews are quite positive, and the majority of it is metal. I also have a boom arm with a clamp, but the boom makes the lightstand more tippy than I am expecting this would be. A lightstand can be raised very high to accommodate a larger-sized...

highest click D750 with no shutter replacement?

The shutter count doesn't get reset when Nikon replaces the shutter. The shutter in my D600 was replaced twice by Nikon - no change to its shutter count either time. There are ways to hack the software that controls the count although Nikon doesn't alter it. Was it @Blacktop who had a body...

The images will be especially bright since the foreground will be water. The body will be a D750 tripod mounted...

    Post your Sunrises

I was out before sunrise this morning and was surprised to see this. Sunrise was supposed to be at 7:05am. This was taken at 7am so no visible sun at the time - although the sun rose from below that spot. What would cause this pillar of light?
