IBIS makes no audible sound in my Z5. I think your camera may be broken.

Asmodeus has a new toy - Zf

There is new firmware issued this week. Judging it can prevent a specific error condition, could be worth updating. https://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/download/fw/559.html

    I need help!!

Can you check if Exposure Delay Mode is active? This opens the mirror and adds a 1 or more second delay before opening the shutter. It is supposed to help reduce vibration from the mirror slapping open when using telephoto lenses on a tripod. Item d4 on the Custom Setting Menu...

The most Australian Pic I have ever taken

It's the most Australian thing I have viewed until somebody captures Hugh Jackman, Mel Gibson, and Russell Crowe wrestling some kangaroos over the last jar of Vegamite to spread on their Hungry Jack Whopper. ;)

Best D7000 Focus Settings for an Outdoor MMA Match?

Former D7000 user here. The 3D tracking is going to work best with f/2.8 lenses and not that great with something in the f/5.6 range in dim light. Having shot a few yo-yo contests inside a mood-lit mall, I just set to AF-C and tried my best. An f/1.8 prime may be your best friend if you are in...

Pulled the trigger on a Z50ii for the Pup

Don't expect a charger packed in with devices that have USB-C connectors. The EU forbids that now, so we also become subjected to their regulation for the convenience of manufacturers trying to be compliant with the e-waste mandates.

    D60 to d7500

The D7500 is the last crop-sensor DSLR still listed at Nikon's web site. I am guessing you are wanting an upgrade that still uses your old lenses from the D60 to keep down cost. But this is the end of times for DSLR camera bodies. So I am going to recommend to shop for a used body. DSLR bodies...

    Upgrade path from D2H

All the gear listed was the good stuff, but by 23 years ago standards. The lenses would be great for somebody using a 1990's film body because they are all using the old style screw-drive autofocus system. The 17-55mm lens being the one with a built-in AF motor and can be used on more bodies...

    External Intervalometer

I have experimented with the intervalometer connector of my Skywatcher AZ-GTi and let's just say I trust my dedicated intervalometer remote release much more. For $40 or less it is something I never regretted buying. Good luck, I recommend a practice run during the day to verify.

    External Intervalometer

To a remote shutter release port. Nikon used 2 different connectors for that. Not sure which kind a D4 uses.

    Snapbridge Question

All valid Clovis, but my take here is that our original poster does not remove the SD card from camera in any of his preferred workflow. So I am addressing why the failure to move the photos from the camera to Snapbridge is happening. Clearly adjusting white balance was only a coincidence and I...

    Snapbridge Question

Ok, tablet is used instead of a phone. But Snapbridge is still copying the photo from the camera by Bluetooth connection to storage on the tablet. Then it will upload a copy to Nikon Image Space cloud storage. But those images also remain on the tablet storage. They can fill up all remaining...

    Snapbridge Question

If those image transfers are going to a microSD card in your phone, test that card. Is if full? Can you write or transfer any other file or photos to it? It is not uncommon for the microSD cards to fail in a way that it will no longer write files but you can still read files stored on it. If...
