Thanks everyone but to be honest I didn't think mine was anywhere near the best, in fact with the quality of bird photographers on this site I didn't even think it would be worthwhile entering 😲

So I am curious about the page number as 1427 with a lot of pages still to go seems like a very long book. On searching 'La Peste' I came up with 'an absurdist novel by Albert Camus' which is approximately 308 pages long.

Really difficult to choose as all good but I think no.2 with the mouth open as it's a bit different. After that one I would go for no.5 as I love the strong foreground colours.
