I had the day off today so I had to go to a few businesses to sell my photos. Stopped at the local glass blowers and was hoping to get shots of them making something. They decided it was too hot and went home. So, I took shots of the shop.

One of my customers let me borrow his sigma 400mm today. he said it was producing hazy pictures. Sure enough it did! I took a good look down the barrel and the inner lens has a film on it. Looks like fungus. I was hoping to try it out too!

refurbished camera, 2 lenses 35mm af and 85 mm macro afs and an sb-700. i know! i know! refurbished??? i have 90 days to put it through the challenge. will let you know how it works.

have come down to getting a refurbished d7000 from Nikon usa. with that i am ordering a sb-700. at B and H photo i have chose to get an AF 28mm,50mm and a 60mm macro or should i go with an 85mm macro.

i have decided to get a refurbished 300s from Nikon. 700 was a bit over budget for me. i have a manual 24mm,28mm, 50mm, a 70-300 tamron and my kit lenses 18-55 and and 55-200. a 3rd party flash that works great. what i need to know is im wondering what would be a good combo within my budget...

found a site http:// Nikon Lens Serial Nos that shows what year my older lenses were made by serial #s. My 35-70 was made in 94, 28mm in 81 and the 50mm in 1962. Happy 50th to my 50mm.

Has anyone bought refurbished from Nikon. Since the 300s are out of stock i was looking on the nikon site and they have a 300s for 1500 and a 700 for 2500. In my oppinion when the plant gets back to production you wont see the 300s or the 700 come out any way.

am looking at getting 40mm for use as a portrait and macro lense. i already own 24mm,28mm, and a 50mm manual lenses. they work great for me as portrait also. depending on what i want to shoot.

any one use this lense. getting tired of changing lenses.

Day 14 took this last night. didnt get a chance to download. this is my oldest dog Tobey. hes around 11 or 12.

going to practice doing night photos and early morning photos(when i get the time to) here are a few i did this morning. i am going to try longer exposures next time and work on foreground focus.
