    Experimenting with a tripod and longer exposure. I am happy to have fixed my old tripod. The sharpness and colors are great in my opinion.

    For Halloween I tried to take pictures of jack-o-lanterns. It resulted in my first long exposure photography, at 30 seconds (the longest the d3200 permits) Results are great in my opinion. I'll surely try that again.

    This one is a snap taken on my cellphone, on a boardwalk in Australia. I hope it's OK to post cellphone pictures... It's that trip that trigerred me to buy a DSLR; I preferred to use the cellphone than the point and shoot, and felt like a real camera was needed to get the picture I wanted...

    This was one of the first shots when I got the D3200. Being that my previous experience was with point and shoot digital or non-digital SLR, I was going manual mode with manual focus. I really liked, straight on the camera, closing-up the picture, how detailed the wood grain was.
