USED NIKON DX 18-135 3.5-5.6 G 8 #U383947
Looking for a new kit lens to go with my new camera but I'm not sure which to get. Had my eyes on the 18-105mm but then I see this. Really good price but I'm wondering if it's an old lens because even the 18-105mm is more expensive, even a used one is...
New York Times Exposes Peter Lik Photography Fraud - artnet News
So, remember that guy who took the most expensive photograph in history? Seems the NYT did some digging on him and found some interesting results. Personally I don't care if it's true or not, but it made for an interesting read...
When Photo Thieves Get Caught, Photo Thieves Get Mad -- REALLY Mad.
If you have time, you should definitely click the link at the bottom of the article taking you to the PhotoStealers website itself and check out the comments. The article doesn't tell you even half the story.
Yes, I know it's a Canon :P But I decided to start a bit of a Film SLR collection recently and my first addition is this, it was a Christmas gift from my girlfriend. She said that it belonged to her mom who died when she was 17 so it's been in storage for the last 8 years or so. She thought it'd...

So the Slo Mo Guys (basically two dudes with a specialist video camera that can take suuuuuuuper slow motion video) just did a video showing us the inside of a DSLR at 10000fps. Great video. Love these guys.

So, does anyone have any websites they go to to get the latest news in the photography world? Only one I've been using is PetaPixel and honestly the quality of the articles they've posted has been falling faster than Kodak's stock.
So I was thinking of getting a Nikon P&S to supplement my DSLR. I'd prefer one with manual controls, good image/video quality but not too pricey.
Also, could anyone point me to a waterproof case so I can use it underwater too?

New Nikon D7100 and D5200 price drops | Nikon Rumors
If you're looking to upgrade to either of these cameras, now would be a good time to do it. I just might be getting my D7100 sooner because of this.

Nikon D7200/D9300 specifications, maybe | Nikon Rumors
Not bad, but no built-in Wifi or 4k video? Boo. The rest is good enough for me. Especially 8 fps. That should make people happy. Still, this is pretty damn early so there's hope. Or it might be nothing. Still, keeping the fingers crossed.
So I got some filters for my lens, 52mm cause they're the least expensive I can use plus that's the size of my kit lens which is the only one wide enough to really need filters. But I thought I'd get a step down adapter for my other lenses which are both 58mm so that they can use the filters too...
