Just a test on resizeing

I rezize my photos for posting to 1200 width x 800 Height and they end up enything from 114 to 650 pixels, they seem to lose a lot of sharpness when posted. Is there a better way? I use ACDsee14 to resize and edit. I would welcome any help with this. Thanks Phil

When I edit a post of mine and select the save tab it does not save the edit to the post. Am I missing somthing?
