What do you use it primarily for? Portraits? I just received mine from UPS yesterday and am looking for ideas on what to consider shooting with it. DO you like the lens? Does not having VR hurt you a lot with this lens? Thanks for any and all input!:joyous:

Which ones would you choose and why? If they got damaged, they would be replaced for free, and you would be guaranteed to have them for at least 10 years, and you wouldn't have to pay anything for them.

I was thinking of selling it, but have reconsidered since it will be great to have the D610 and a D7100 to compliment each other. Differing cameras do different things and it's nice to have a crop sensor AND a full frame. Unless someone comes up with a great offer, that's the way it will be...

As you know....I am shooting with both a D7100 and a D610. Which lens would be good for a 7100, and which lens would be good for a 610? I know I'm keeping the D610, but may sell the 7100. Please let me know. I want to get close but am on a limited budget. :cool:

It finally came yesterday! The D610, and full frame. Don't worry, I won't be looking back! I have to try it with my FX lenses. I've only taken one shot, and that was with the 50mm f/1.8. I spent most of last night setting it up. Does anyone know if the battery should have a Nikon logo...
