    B & H NYC visit

Certainly there was no lack of merchandise, but it was just too big! I prefer the Mom & Pop small store.

    B & H NYC visit

I was in Manhattan yesterday, and paid a visit to B & H. Holy smokes. Never again. The place is a madhouse. It's also a maze. Just keep following the signs to "Photography" that went on forever round and round until I reached the 2nd floor. In a word, the place is nuts. The Nikon section is...

    Star shot advice

This is excellent advice, but I find no need for high ISO. Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit before I start shooting the stars again. One of my favorites is the International Space Station. Getting the stars in there was an added bonus. Exposure was 30 sec. ISO 100 35mm f1.8.

Anyone Shoot in Jpeg with our D7100's

This. I still shoot in both, and find myself going more and more for the RAW. Once you learn the basics of processing, you won't go back. Look at the example by @Blacktop. That could have never been rescued in JPEG.

    How do YOU import photos?

Just as the title says. What is your preferred method of importing photos from your camera into your computer? When I had only my D5100, I would pull the card out and put into my computer. Now, with the D7100, I've been connecting via cable. Is there a right way? Wrong way? Preferred way? How do...
