Today on my walk to the mailbox, I noticed some hawks cruising in the wind so I had to give it another try. As with all some are better than others, and you can only imagine how bad some were that I discarded after you see these. Ha!

Looking through this thread, I can't begin to get close to the excellence of most of you and your skills. Today I had a CPL filter on my 70-300 to get some cloud-mountain shots and a hawk flew by. I started shooting, but out of the many shots only a couple are even close to being worth...
Three pictures, hand held bracketed. I only used two of the three, the plus & minus exposure. The post processing was done with Gimp.

This is the jpg version out of the camera. I shot it RAW and jpg, but couldn't get it to post process using Capture NX D. I wasn't able to improve with the RAW file over the camera processed JPG. Thanks for your comments
Oh, used tripod and remote release.
It is getting close to the deadline and I probably won't have time to do better, so............................. I guess I will have to guess what is in the lighted room.
