Thanks @Danno I felt I was pretty lucky to get the shots of the Kestrel. If......... I would have only had the 200-500mm lens on the camera instead of the 70-300. Much less cropping. Ha! Of course with the big lens, I probably wouldn't have been able to find the thing in the sky. Ha!

@brucet Glad you got it worked out. I have not had that problem with it, but I really very seldom use the Open with Application. I usually just save my file after doing adjustments (Convert file) to JPG format. Then I open it in GIMP or whatever other application. I just purchased...

I am not sure where you are at in NX-d, but are you on this screen? And are you not able to select the different preference settings because it is stuck on Open with... Give us a little more detail and maybe, just maybe we can help.
