I think it is wrong and should not be used as a prop. There are fabrics that would work great and get the same idea across. Like this one.

The wife and I are going to be in New Orleans for a few days soon and was hoping there was someone here that is from the area that could point us to the best places to visit, photograph and eat. I see all the tourist areas but I know locals really know better.
