Today I purchased my Nikon 35mm lens and my lens hood fits very loose. I put it on and it stays on but when I flip it around for storage it fits super loose. I took my camera out of the car and it worked itself off and fell on the ground. Is there an aftermarket hood I can get or should I return...

Are .NEF files easily converted so non photographers can see them on their computer?

Ive seen this so many times at theme parks, where someone will have their camera hanging off one shoulder and a telephoto lens fully extended and the owner is none the wiser. Do anyone have a clever solution (other than removing the lens) to keep this from happening?
