Juvenile Red tail Hawk White Rumped Sandpiper

My camera is set to 12 bit RAW which, according to the manual, should give me a buffer capacity of 5 or 6. My viewfinder display shows "r 03" indicating I believe a capacity of 3. Can someone explain to me why this should be, what are the causes and how can I increase the buffer capacity?

I have collected all the RAW files on my computer into one folder in .nef format. I am trying, and failing, to get LR6 to import them. They appear as icons in the import window but are "grayed" out and the software will not select them. What am I doing wrong?

Does anyone have any experience with or opinions of this lens? Camera Canada :: Nikon :: 18-140mm G ED DX VR AFS Lens (white box bulk) I'm thinking it might make a good walk about.
