What Lens is on Your D7100 Right Now?

Do you have the VR version @Lawrence? If so, that is one fantastic lens. Just keep that shutter speed up. When I get the 150-600, I will still keep that lens for shooting flowers and butterflies with it.

What lens is on your D750 at the moment.

I had the 35mm f/2 on Dolly today to see if we could give that lens some love, but now that she is resting right next to me on the computer desk, she is sporting the 20mm f/2.8 D lens. That is one sexy combo.

    A complete revamp

Why would you want to torture my friend @Lawrence? I would jump off the Empire State Building if I had to use just one lens for a whole month. Especially a 35mm. What a boring focal length. Suicide city right there, Fish!:dejection: I suggest some hard drinking and nothing but 5 exposure HDR...

    Post your favorite July shot

I've had technically better shots in the month of July, but without a doubt this is my favorite shot of July and probably this year so far.

Two shot pano. I think I'm just going to stick to 2 shots. Much easier on my machine.

I just tried a 3 shot pano with Microsoft ICE. It is much faster stitching then with either LR or PS. It also does a good job filling in parts that otherwise would have to be cropped out. However, PP takes a looooong time after I take it to LR. It is a huge assed file. Is it possible to resize...

    I had an interesting morning.

Went up to my mountains to shoot some pano's. I pull off to the lookout point and pull my tripod and my cam with the 35mm attached. What do I see in front of me? A golden eagle circling around. Run back to the car to grab my 70-300. By the time I put the lens on, the bird is gone. (note to self...

    Nikon 35mm f/2 D testing testing.

Here it is a little PP and distortion correction in LR

    Nikon 35mm f/2 D testing testing.

Not a bad little lens. SOOC wide open Focus point on the D and T in the middle of "Behind the Glass. I'm going to give this lens a little workout tomorrow before I decide what to do with it. I have the 20mm and the 50mm so the FL doesn't really excite me much. What does excite me however is...

Where and what will you be shooting this weekend?

Well, this idea didn't work out last weekend. Hot and very hazy day. I managed one landscape shot that I worked on for a while in PP to have it looking somewhat presentable. However the weekend wasn't a wash. I had a chance to shoot the memorial in Chattanooga that I have been meaning to do...
