    Nikon E lenses

From Nikon support: After the move to G (no diaphragm control on the lens when mounted), now the move to E takes away the mechanical link to the diaphragm. The evolution of lenses was first one of adding (communication with the camera and control from the camera) now to remove from the lens...

Decided to buy a Nikkor 600/4 IF-ED (input on the G and D II)

Decided to buy a Nikkor 600/4 IF-ED (bought first AS-F now) I decided to buy a Nikkor 600/4 IF-ED, this was after looking what would make sense for me. First created in 1977, ... skipping to 1996. Even if the glass before is very good optically and I would probably do 80% of my pictures OK...

Nikon AF 70-300 f/4.0-5.6 G Black Zoom Nikkor Lens

These were some of my first pictures with the lens to see what I could use it for, my main liking of the lens is the weight: 1/400s with 3200 ISO (if your camera can not do it, you need an other lens): at 300mm and 70mm a thistle

Nikon AF 70-300 f/4.0-5.6 G Black Zoom Nikkor Lens

Exactly what the sales guy told me. Well I do not listen an I think people should not. I tested this bad lens to see how bad it was: all on a tripod, manual focus (sometimes wrong), remote trigger in aperture priority, shot several lenses f5,6 ,f8, f11. The goal was to get some result like...
