Like @mikew said, it's hard to describe when and what I would shoot as B&W in mind. An old man with a wrinkled face and a cigarette between his chapped lips, screams for B&W. A baby that just pooped her diaper, not so much.

Have you contacted @jdeg about this? He might be working on a solution right now. Maybe there is a bigger problem that we don't know about. We just had a new member sign up, pay for a subscription and can not log onto to the forum.

@mikew and @aroy. Thanks for taking the time to help. I appreciate you taking all those shots Mike. It looks like there is a lot of difference between the 300mm and the 500mm focal length. The jump from 500 up to 600mm seems pretty small.
