Time to wake up this thread. Tomorrow I'm going back to basics. Going out driving to shoot some landscapes, farms, barns horses, cows. No birds. Darn things are starting to get on my nerves!!

Whenever someone has some time. could you please put the camera in Manual mode, select 1/4000th of a shutter speed and press the shutter. Please do this with the first shot after turning on the cam. Let me know how the shutter reacts please!

Thanks everyone. @mikew. No I didn't get anything this year. I told Mrs Blacktop not to buy anything as I'm saving up for it. January 15th I get my quarterly safety bonus ( If I don't have any accidents or get a citation until the end of the month) which should then put me over the top.
