With the D5100, noise reduction on this was around half way on the Luminance slider in LR This is from the D7000, straight off the cam, no PP except crop Am i 'pixel peeping' here?? :P

After having used the d5100 for a year almost and then picking up the d7000 as well, I have noticed some difference in the images produced. If both these cameras have the same sensors, shouldn't the noise produced in both be identical under exactly the same shooting conditions? The noise me...

Wondered how clouds form these wonderful shapes & why they sometimes appear as more than just cloud formations?? I've wondered about it all time & the explanations i get do not satisfy the crazy designs I see ... Anyhow, here are a few shots of some clouds which kept moving around & changing...

I need some advice on picking up a new quick release plate. Currently i have one 200PL-14 which came along with the 498RC2... Since i recently got a the new D7000 i think i'll need 2 QR plates.. Should i be particular about getting the Manfrotto 200PL-14 or would any do? Any other brands/models...

I have run into a very strange problem today. I clicked some photos (27 of them) this morning & imported them into LR. They import fine, card ejects fine, but i can't see no damn previews! Previews are working fine for all older folders... these 27 pics are in a separate folder, so not too much...
