Well, the light comes and goes and its pretty cold in the uk atm but here are a few more from my local patch. I just love the 200-500vr. In the 5 months I have owned it I have not used another lens.

Not too much showing on my local patch of late and when I actually found some dragonflys it was a bit breezy killing the sharpness a little but I managed a few decent pics,,,,,,,,,

I would like to hear some advice from d7200 bird photographers on how they set their AF for both static and in flight subjects. Although I have been a dedicated Nikon user for a number of years now I must admit that I have never even scratched the surface of Nikons AF modes beyond single point...

Great for smaller critter too, heavy cropping on the second pic but it held up pretty well.

Not much about this weekend. Here is a cute one.

The more I use the 200-500vr the more I like it. These were all cropped in pp and taken in windy conditions with poor to middling light.

I have had the lens for over a week and have now got myself a d7200 to use with it. I think I am going to have a great time with this combination.

Just upgraded from the sigma c to the nikon 200-500vr i liked the sigma but i love the nikon!
