I thought about entering this picture for this month's assignment "weathered" but changed my mind and now regret it...

This artist had sculpted these faces that stood in the water. Nothing exceptional but the clouds that just happened when we got there made the perfect conditions for HDRs. This one's got the added filtered look or "oil paint".

We also went on another island for a hike and got to see the colony of birds They are quite nice birds, but with the numbers, the noise and specially smell was a little hard on my stomach. This is Bonaventure Island. Now a Canadian national park, it used to be occupied by about 300 persons.

Well, I'm back home with my connection and will be able to post more shots from my recent trip to Percé, QC and along the St-Lawrence river. Here are some pics from Percé: many more to come.
