A couple shots from Strasburg Railroad today. ​

Somehow during the ride I lost my camera to a three year old.:cool: He started with a picture of his Mom. That is steam from the engine in the last shot.

Went to Strasburg railroad today with the grandson for a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine. Not a lot of pictures as the wind chill was about 12 degrees. At least they had the potbelly stoves fired up in the cars.

Not the best shot but it shows the size difference between a Mallard and a Green Wing Teal. Don't realize how small they are until you see them like this.

Saw this Heron along the marsh today. When I first spotted him he looked like he was huddled against the cold. Soon enough he started to stretch and off he went.

I am posting this off topic and it is blatant self promotion of my daughter photography class. So, hit the back button on your browser if you don't want to read on. OK so you are still here. Over the last month I have advised (only when asked) my daughter while she developed an on-line photo...

Mallard and a Northern Pintail. The Pintail is also just passing through. I still have a bunch of shots to look at (and delete a few) tonight.
