It looks like that this part is showing up in the shots. Anyone know what that part is, and why is it standing up blocking part of the sensor? -

You may be right. I took a cell pick with the camera off, and then with the "lock mirror up" for cleaning. Lens off, camera off. Lens off, mirror up -

Shutter won't open all the way just like before I left for Florida. Taken the batteries out , but this time it is not doing any good. This seems to be a different shutter problem then the one I had last year where the shutter just broke in pieces. nikon replaced the shutter,sensor and a few... -
