Back home after some shopping, purchased a Nikon D7200 body and a new NIKON AF-S 80-400MM F/4.5-5.6G ED VR lense, battery charging. Will try out tomorrow at Presqu'ile Park shooting shorebirds. Any suggestions on settings would be helpful, I am thinking AF-C with spot?? Most other settings...

I am purchasing my new Nikon D7200 tomorrow and was wondering if you can import Raw images from this camera via a Card Reader into iPhoto. Some articles I have seen online indicate that their may be issues, not sure.

Will this lense autofocus on any recent Nikon body, including bodies that don't have a built in auto focus motor. Not sure if this latest updated lense has a built in auto focus motor in the lense itself to use on just about any body.

Looking to upgrade my D50 to the D7100, was wondering if the camera will need to be auto-focus fine tuned when using the Nikkor 80-400 AF VR ED 1:4.5-5.6D or Nikkor 50mm AF f/1.8D. Thanks for any info, asking as this is not needed or possible on my D50.

I currently shoot birds with a Nikon D50 and the original ver of the 80-400VR handheld. Wondering if this type of camera (Nikon CoolPix P900) would give me similar results or maybe even better, considering an upgrade but haven't decided yet until I saw this one.

This snowy owl was quite a ways back from my location but my trusty Nikon D50 with the original ver of the 80-400VR managed to pull off the shot. Mind you the sunny weather and blue sky helped alot. Thanks for viewing.

Wolfe Island in SE Ontario. Located 8 different snowies today in just 2 hours, mind you I drove around to find them. Not all 8 were in range to be photographed due to fenced/private land.
