Hey @Woodyg3, You will have to let me know how you like that Tamron. I love my 200 -500 but the weight is to much some times. Been thinking about that lens as. A more practical lens for me.

Love the sunrise @Needa. Really like the shots of the old shops. Last time I was there for work it was changing. There are a few places left like that in Lexington, but none are in that good a shape. Thanks for sharing.

23/365 Yesterday I am glad I was goofing around in the early part of the day because the evening slipped away. Most of the day was that Elvis song around here. Playing with handheld shots and the IS on the Tamron. It cost Jersey a few moments of nap time.

Thanks, @Marilynne, and @nikonpup. With your help, I did find out the pattern of the knife. It is called a sowbelly pattern. Still not sure why the short blade is clipped @Roy1961 but I found some places to poke around. Who knows, maybe I needed another hobby. :D It was fun digging around...

22/365 Another rainy day, but some strange clouds that I caught walking Jersey. The first one was really strange. All around it was grey except this little spot of bright clouds. The other two looked flat as I walked down the drive but than as I got more under them they got like Pillows.

17/365 We have an old farmhouse renovated in 1947. It started as a log cabin. It was supposed to be a fixer-upper turned out after the first year I needed more than the house. But we love it here just like it is. This is the corner of one of the old original mantles on one of the two fireplaces.

16/365 Pretty much confined to the house. Pat worries about me falling, so I take some photos from the window. Today it was fun shooting Jersey Girl. She does not walk in the snow she hops and runs

15/365 This was my first attempt at fooling with off camera flash and I have to admit, IDKN, "I don't know nothing" about it, but this was the pretest. I have some studying to do It will likely take a while, but that is ok. The knives were my Dad's passion. I let most go to the Grandkids...
