New Tripod, ball head and lens cleaning kit arrived today.

Just received my new tripod and ball head. Really impressed with Benro quality for the price. Along with a new Zeiss lens cleaning kit.

Since @mikew wants the zoom for his Z50, Nikon has reclassified it as Dx/Fx ;)

Below is a casual IBIS test conducted on my messy desk. Both exposures are 1/2 second, the first is one shot with IBIS on (only one taken) and the second is the best of 15 subsequent shots with IBIS off. I shot with IBIS off 15 times to try and get the best I could accomplish hand held. steadier...

Decided to take the leap back into Nikon, not a single XQD card in Central NY! On it's way from BH, lots to learn in the meantime!

I've watched all the videos and read all the reviews and still torn. Since I havent bought either yet I'm still in the blissful state of not committed. Going with the kit would allow me to pick up the 14-30 at the same time. Anyone on here shot both?

I'm thinking of getting an fx body again and was wondering if there's any issues with this model. I'd prefer mirrorless, but the new Nikons don't impress. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks Rick

I'm in my sixth year now of selling prints, latest show is at the NYS fairgrounds for the Syracuse Nationals car event. I've posted several threads in the past and still going strong. I've weeded out many shows in my area and do a select few now, after many I know which ones pay off the most...

Now that an fx or dx is in the works the current mirrorless section (compact) does capture the new line.

Found this Snowy on a lamp post about 100 yards to my left. She sensed a field mouse under roughly 4 inches of snow about 100 yards to my right (finally had one fly somewhat towards me).

A few more from yesterday, I wish they would stop flying in the wrong direction!!
