Well, mine is home. It got here about 1:00 pm. All shinny and new looking. I am really glad I saved my settings on a CFExpress card before I sent it off. I was pretty sure they would do a full reset. I honestly was not in the habit of doing that until the Z8. It took a long time to set it up...

Well, I spoke with Nikon Tech Service this morning and I confirmed that my Z8 will ship end of day today or early Wednesday. That is not bad. They received it and worst case it we be shipped, Wednesday, July 5th. It should be home. Early next week at the latest.

Thank you for sharing. I do not use Photoshop often. This tool will change that. I live in the world of powerlines and I have struggled with them. This was encouraging.

I used Wasabi in my D7200 and had no problems. They worked as well as my Nikon batteries. That said, I have been very reluctant to use aftermarket batteries in my Z6 or Z8.

I received notice that my Z8 is in queue. I received confirmation this morning that they will clean and repair with no charge in keeping with the service advisory.

I have confirmation that it was delivered. I hope it is a quick turnaround. The Z6 is great but the Z8 is addicting.

I have been using the Topaz Denoise and Sharpen tools for some time. I have never used a Megapixel. I just wanted to try this function out. I agree that Topaz is better. I do not use the tools often. I used them more when I took bird photos and Auto ISO.

I could not see any difference between normal editing and using the Denoise function either. The only thing I could see was only in LrC. The details, like the flies and some of the fur were lost, but that was about it. I was wondering if anyone else could see any difference. I should have...
