i don't often see a Green Heron, i don't know if this is the same one from earlier but in a different location?

i didn't need the app to id the Bells Vireo, i did call it after this pic and it ended up right in front of me, to close to even focus.

i called them both using the app, took me 10 mins to locate the Chat, it was well back in the field, never moved but the bunting came a little closer.

i was walking along the trail while using my Merlin app, using the recording which suggests the bird to the sound it hears. Up pops the usual, Bewicks wren, Song sparrow, Starling, Yellow warbler & House finch. Then it throws up a Yellow-breasted Chat and a Lazuli bunting. I said yeah right.
