My 2 submissions for our local photo Club challenge were voted for by all 2 judges. The subject was "Abstractions". The swinging nun. And in color category: Cosmic Oasis. Both shots were captured at my local scrapyard where I was hunting for rust close-ups.

Thank you veterans and let's never forget. Although he was Canadian, my father did serve in second world war. Every year I try to take a photo of some of the souvenirs he left for me to remember.

I'm still playing with slow shutter speed hand held moving camera. Results vary but sometimes interesting shots comes out.

It's a bit unusual for us to still have flowers in full bloom. So we enjoy looking at them and taking pictures of them. Df with old 70-210 and 12mm extension tube.
