When I attach my orange filter on my flash. A1 appear TN-A1 (incandescent filter). My D-3100 is set to Auto-WB. When I take a picture the background is supposed to turn blue and the subject neutral. But I don't see much a difference.

If it's a fixed light you can play with it to place the shadow on the subject. How to adjust shadows with a flash and humbrella. Is anyone use a car spotlight that you plug in the 12v that have a battery and you place it. If that I would need a way to hold it there with a grip.
The Sb come with a plastic stand, it have a screw tread under, but all made of plastic. I saw some people using it on a stand to hold the flash. Is it safe, or something better is available.
I wonder if it's possible to trigger the SB-910 with a D3100 (like with the pop-up flash), it said it support CLS. But I can't figure how. Or if there is other build in way.
