Was out today shooting with a Sigma 10 / 20mm lens in Manual mode, but i tried to change the focus point but it would not change from the centre of the viewfinder, anyone offer any help please.

Was out last night with a photography buddy who shoots with a Canon camera, so we where doing some 2 minute exposures, his camera had a count down timer on it so does the Nikon D7100 have this feature.

I shoot with the D7100 and usually photo sports like cycling, running and football, i also photo landscapes, so my lenses are the Nikon 50mm F1.4, Nikon 18-140 F3.5 and a Nikon 70-200 F2.8, so would it be advisable to replace the 18-140 with a wider lens like a Tokina 11-16?

I have the D7100 and the 70-200 F/2.8 lens and use the BlackRapid curve strap, so i will be doing a sports shoot in a few weeks which will last about four or five hours, so as the lens is pretty heavy for long use am i better to attach the strap to the camera or the lens? if its to be attached...

Just have my D7100 a few weeks now and the right hand grip is starting to show signs of wear, its where the fingertips touch the grip, does anyone else's camera show these signs, never happened to any of my other Nikon cameras?

Whenever i view photos on my sd card using windows photo viewer they show as DSC 3959, 3960 etc, but the sd card is brand new and only has six photos on it, how can i get the photos to show as DSC 1,2 etc
