17/52 Theme Landscape. We went out to Antelope Island this evening. From Buffalo Point I found this shot of the mountain by White Rock Bay. The sun was low so the shadows on the hills make the folds in the hills look deep and textured. I also liked the colors on the this time of year.

15/52 Theme: Darkness - Abandoned House with the Moon Rising. The sun had set, the moon was rising and we passed this old abandoned house. I got several photos until the dog came after me. That was scary but I survived. I got a few more shots from the window of the car though.

15/52 Theme: Reflections. This is a reservoir in Delta, where we went for a little get away this week. I thought that it was funny to see the picnic table in the water, and the reflection of the table, trees, and bushes was quite poetic. Unless you learn to face your own shadows, you will...

This teeny, tiny daisy is just 1 cm. I love the detail of the Fibonacci sequence in the middle. Lighting compliments of the sun. :)

White Pansy with yellow and purple. I think that the yellow and purple colors of this pansy look like brush strokes. I'm sure that if Georgia had seen this pansy, she would have painted it to look just like this.

Macro Shot of a White Spring Flower. Georgia used to paint lots of macro pictures of flowers on giant canvas's. I think she would approve of this one. I would like to see this one printed on a large canvas.

13/52 Theme Colours. This is the very colorful Sun Dog that we saw this week. It was much more striking than this photo shows. I Know that the bottom cloud is blown out from the sun, but I wanted to keep the cloud formation in the shot. The cloud looks like it has a funnel looking formation. I...

12/52 Theme: Abandoned. I drove up Cottonwood Canyon to Alta. When I saw this abandoned shack that had been built into the side of the mountain, I knew that it was going to be my next entry. If you ever come to Utah, you MUST go to Alta. The skiing is great, but the scenery is Outstanding!

Here is another of the macro flower shots. Now I'm getting more inventive than just copying Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings. Flowers are so beautiful that there can be endless macro shots of different flowers. This is a rose petal.
