There is an 1800's Print Shop at "This is the Place". I got a great shot of the printer setting the "type".

Week 32/52 Theme: Vehicle This is an old covered wagon filled with flowers. We went to "This is the Place" and the wagon was in the middle of the dirt road, surrounded by houses built in the 1800's.

This bee buried his head in the Stinging Nettle Flower. But, I got a nice close shot of the bee and flower. I think that Georgia would have laughed about seeing this cute bee nuzzled down in the pretty pink flower.

Week 30/52 Theme: Crooked. This is a tree that is growing up in a canyon. The winds always blow down the canyon and many of the trees are growing crooked.

Georgia would have loved my garden this year. There are many, many flowers and colors that are just right for photo's. I was really pleased with this colorful zinnia.

This is the same shot as before only I straightened it. I didn't notice that it wasn't straight until I posted the previous shot.

While on the climb up the mountain, I found this strange piece of machinery. I positioned myself so that the valley would be in the background of this interesting "thing". Does anyone know what this machine does?
