A few comments in no particular order. Can't comment on Canon DSLRs...only one I own is a point-and-shoot Powershot SD600 Digital ELPH. Unless you're using your camera for a business and can't afford to risk losing a client's images, I wouldn't be concerned about having two cards. JMO...
