I have tried using the 1000 on the long side method of reducing before posting using both Nikon View NX-2 and Lr6 (one or the other I mean - not both one AFTER the other). Lightroom also has the option of choosing the ppi which I left at 24 and the Output Sharpening was set for screen with...

Just messing around to see if I can see a difference between the various re-sizings. I feel like either way, it's a better photo before being uploaded.

I have really enjoyed this lens for the past month since I bought it. It has delivered a lot of bang for the buck on the D5500. Sorry for the huge picture. It was a screen capture that I resized but it still opens to a very large image!

Nikon D7000 body only with accessories - Like New Bought at the beginning of February 2015. Used very little before I bought the D5500. Comes with original box and papers, including both of the owner's manuals in English & Spanish. Screen protector is still in place. Body cap, battery, charger...

I tend to have trouble framing my photos the way I'd like. I guess that's the problem with a viewfinder that doesn't have 100% coverage plus wearing glasses. This weekend I had an eye exam and got a Rx for 1 meter out & am hoping a Nikon custom diopter will help me out.

Added second photo with slight vignette. Thought maybe that helped to bring the eye in to the flower.

I didn't see that this has been posted anywhere yet and also not sure of the correct category. If I search for something on eBay immediately ads for it will haunt me forever on FB or Yahoo or any other website I might browse. But if I were take a photo on PUBLIC lands in Wyoming, and share...

@Bourban Neat - this was unexpected! Caught while hiking in Canyonlands, Utah. Until I got closer he was just lying still next to some small dead limb, looking very much like just another stick. I believe this is also a racer snake. He did slither away rather quickly!

Converted to 1024 pixels on the long edge and then uploaded to my gallery and posted from there instead of uploading directly from my laptop. Thanks @wornish & @Blacktop. I think this more accurately reflects how it looks on my pc.
