Need someone to explain something to me.

When you are shooting a zoom lens that is F2.8 all the way through the range of the lens, your camera will focus fast due to focusing at the widest aperture available of F2.8. So if I am shooting a lens that is say 18-55mm F3.5 to 5.6 does the camera focus at 3.5 all the way through the zoom...

I was asked to photograph a 5k run/walk remembering the World Trade Center bombing in support of our police and fireman.. After the run ended at a casino they had the option of going up 23 flights of stair 5 times to replicate going up the stains at the twin towers. It was to support our fireman...

I have a D500 with all EV compensation set to zero, on top of the camera and also in the menu, but when I put my sb900 flash on top and take a picture and review it on the rear screen it always shows -7EV. I have checked the flash and I am shooting in TTL BL FP with the EV on the flash set to...

Our club had a photo shoot with my 9 year old granddaughter and this was her first time trying to be a model. She moved from on pose to another without having to be prompted to do anything and she had a great time. Shot with a Nikon D500, Nikon 70-200VR F2.8 lens and a Nikon SB900 on camera...

    Post your 150-600 Tamron shots.

I was looking through some old pictures and thought this one was worth a re-post. It was taken with my Nikon D7000 using a Tamron 150-600mm at 600mm from sitting in my car at GINS Park in Ocean Springs, Ms. It has a lot of unique detail that I have never seen before or since.

    Tip for using SnapBridge

To start off with I will say that Snapbridge works great for me. If you plan on going out shooting and have any intentions of using Snapbridge to transfer images to your phone be sure and take an empty card and NOT one with a lot of images already on it. Your camera will load everything that is...
