    Heron consuming Rodent

Interesting to say the least. I never knew. I alway see them fishing in the water. Did the Heron spit out the rodent to re-swallow, because #3 and 4 look like they are out of order...at least visually?

    Advice on composition

OK. here's a crop including columns. (w/ 3º straighten, 4º horizontal shift, -1º vertical shift, and slight vignetting.) My issue with the columns is the folks sitting in the chair are a distraction from the car so need to be cloned out. Your the artist so ultimately it's your choice, but...

A few rustic photos with my 180mm

I've been in a photo slump, so I pull out my 30 yr old 180mm EDIF lens to try to get inspired. I captured these across the field behind our townhome. Nothing special but I needed to get shooting...though I still feel like stepping away for a while. decaying siding eave hoop and siding...

    Advice on composition

What about playing with the crop while gently correcting perspective to feature the vehicle. If you like your perspective, I'd correct the tilt counterclockwise a few degrees, as it seems like it's leaning to the right. Wide angle lenses can be tricky up close with scenes like this one, unless...

Well done! Exceptional positioning and composition. You may want to remove the top left bird w/ cloning tool, because it's half off the frame. Or crop it out, but you' loose part of the sky. You could do so much with this photo using different processings for different versions. I imagine a...
