These people were 2 or 3 hundred yards away and it appears that their boat was disabled. I kept an eye on them to make sure they were OK. Eventually, they got the boat off the sand and putted away. I felt good about keeping their situation monitored in case they didn't have a cell phone. Yep... -

Grizz, I use the standard over one shoulder Black Rapid attached to the bottom of the camera. The camera slides up when I want it very easily. I shoot with one hand on the lens, near the camera. The MF ring is nearest the camera and that is very convenient. You know you're carrying the rig, but... -

Wide Angle Options?
This is a Voigtlander 10mm. It is the widest, rectilinear, non fisheye, full frame lens available. I use this on my Sony A7II. I don't know if they make a Nikon mount, but adapters are probably available. The lowest Nikon lens for FX is the 14MM. AF Nikkor 14mm f/2.8D ED from Nikon...
