My favorite Japanese Maple. The word is that the fence use to surround the entire corner but the owner cut it back so that the neighbors and passerbys could enjoy this magnificent little tree.

I love Autumn but the brilliant reds and golds are largely gone and now the russets and browns will prevail until the bitter winds of late November dislodge even these.

Taken last weekend. Shot from viewing platform I do not know if it was at this bridge or another in this park, but several weeks ago, a photographer lost her grip on her camera, and lunging to catch it, fell to her death. You got to use those straps gang. I never carry my camera anywhere...

Stopped at Falling Water and on my walk to the visitor's pavilion I noticed these grasses sparkling like diamonds.

A lot of space on this forum is devoted to lenses. Is this one better than that one? Which lens do I need next? And on and on. but the most important ones to all of us are the ones that are in our eyes. Too often we take them for granted. Of course, time and disease can damage them, but thanks...

Mostly recovered from my eye surgery so i was anxious to take a photo trip but it was cold and rainy at my destination; so you just have to take cold and rainy day landscapes. and a shot of the Cheat River and a group of trees that caught my eye. there is no place like West Virginia for fall colors
