    VR vs VR-II

    To keep a long story short, I've got to replace a damaged Nikkor 18-55mm VR kit lens. But after reading some reviews I'm still unclear if it's worth the money to get the VR-II version of this lens. Is the VR-II that much better to warrant spending an extra $70 (used)?

    Center Weight Metering

    I think I understand the other 2 metering modes (matrix and spot) that my d90 can do well enough. But I'm trying to envision a scenario where center-weight metering would be used. It seems like a hybrid between matrix and spot and therefore why not just pick whichever of those two the situation...

    The BG-N2 for the D90 and Black Rapid RS-4

    Does anyone have any experience attaching the RapidStrap system to the Vello BG-N2 battery grip? Although the battery grip seems nice and rugged (in fact the mount is reinforced inside) I was just wondering if there were any negative experiences stacking all this stuff on the D90's tripod mount?
