​Fall fun.

​Beautiful fall colors on a beautiful fall afternoon.

It rained very hard the night before, and froze before the drops could fall.

I went for a walk along Toby Creek, it was early enough to get the morning shadows on the creeks sandbar.

I went to check out the salmon run, looking for eagles. Found this seagull instead. I will go back, the eagles are sure to be there, I may have just missed them this morning.

Last nights moon, well actually this morning I guess, 2am. This is with my D90 attached to my telescope.

My second entry. My neighbours had a BBQ and set up a slip'n'slide for the kids. They all had so much fun, this little girl was having problems getting a slide going, so one of the older boys was so great and gave her a little help. I love the look on her face, pure summer fun.

Driving past our little airport the other day, I notice the mirage effect in the heat. So I decided to sit in the heat and wait for a plane to land, ​I was curious as to the effect it would have on a photo, pretty cool, or hot!

Well, I guess I am the first to post in this months challenge... ​ I call this "A Day at the Beach" lol This is my other half.

I went to the little lake up the road, and watched the loons. I managed to get a series of flapping photos.

This is the coolest little bird, he actually swims in raging rivers, under the water! I have even seen them in the cold of winter, and yes, swimming then too.

This is my step daughter, she asked me to do a photoshoot for her. This is one of my favorite photos.

Kootenay National Park I was lucky to see a couple of black bears, this is just outside of Radium Hot Springs. They were enjoying the fresh grass.
